Win With Me
Within Paralympic Sport, there is a category for visually impaired athletes. These para-athletes depend on the care of a guide. When an athlete becomes a guide, they put their own individual athletic dreams aside to become a team, to win together with their para-athlete.
“Win With Me” tells stories of these selfless guides and gives these unsung sport heroes the spotlight they deserve, and hopefully these stories will inspire other athletes to become guides and experience the rewards to “Win With Me”.
Fireweed Creative is an Alberta based outdoor adventure and wildlife documentary production company. The company is named after the Fireweed plant that is indigenous to Alberta. The Fireweed plant is a pioneer whose tiny seeds ride the wind to start new life. Even in the toughest environments such as clear-cuts, roadsides and burns, fireweed plants rise up – beautiful and strong. Fireweed Creative's producers work hard, often in difficult and remote environments, to uncover unique characters and to tell amazing stories. Creating productions for diverse clients including Telus, the Telus Fund, CBC, Water Aid Canada and Tourism Kimberley, Fireweed Creative has a proven track record of producing exceptional non-fiction work for both online and broadcast platforms. Dominique Keller and Kevin Pennock, producers with collectively over 30 years industry experience, are the principles of Fireweed Creative.
