Bif Naked, Canada’s beloved Queen of punk rock shares her experiences with caregiving.

We are grateful for her contributions to the series Cypher and Letters from Caregivers.

Thank you Bif.

Bif Naked (aka Beth Torbert) is a Platinum and Gold Album selling International Recording Artist, an author, actress, and cartoonist. But beyond her creative talents, she is also a cancer survivor and advocate. Inspired by the strength of those that supported her during her fight with breast cancer, Bif became a full-time cancer patient mentor and volunteer after her recovery. She also discovered a passion for advocacy, as a triumphant survivor and someone who helps others first. For International Women’s Day 2013, Bif spoke at the University of the Fraser Valley, where she was awarded an honorary doctorate. She is also the author of the bestselling memoir “I Bifcus” (HarperCollins), which shares her life of love, loss and triumph.
